The
Central Virginia Chapter of the American Red
Cross provides locally relevant humanitarian
services that help people within the community
be safer, healthier and more self-reliant. Programs
are wide-ranging touching the lives in our community.
For example, Central Virginia Red Cross volunteers
knit caps and booties for infants born in local
hospitals as well as donate and assemble care
kits for vicitims of fires and other disasters.
