Description |
A
comprehensive course (24 hours) that certifies
instructors to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding
courses. This includes an overview of all materials
as well as practice teaching sessions. Upon successful
completion of the course, individuals are certified
to provide training in American Red Cross Lifeguarding,
First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
courses. |

Prerequisites |
Completion
of the Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT);
Preliminary Challenge (resulting in certification
in Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer). Must by at least 17 years
old by completion date of course. |

Certification |
Valid
for two years and renewable every two years thereafter. |

Price |
$350
(includes all instructor books). Please note that
Fundamentals of Instructor Training (an additional
$25) is a prerequisite. |
